2013 Award Winners Announced!
Congratulations to these women who have been selected as 2013 award winners by Soroptimist International of Sedro-Woolley!

Linnaea Groh
Our Women’s Opportunity Award winner. Going to Western Washington University to become a teacher. 48-year-old single mother with two teenage boys. Had been a stay at home mom for 16 years and now has been going back to school to better her life and that of her family.
Our Ruby Award Winner. Carol Volunteers at the Sedro Woolley
Boy and Girls Club and has been a longtime member of Sedro Woolley Lions Club.
Linnaea Groh
Our Violet Richardson Award winner. A Senior at Sedro-Woolley High
School. Active in music and drama. Linnaea volunteers at the Lincoln
Theater Center Foundation. Linnaea has put in over 200 hours volunteering
to help promote the arts through her passion for Theater.

Soroptimist Day in Sedro-Woolley!
At our October 25th meeting, Sedro-Woolley's Mayor Mike Anderson arrived to read a mayoral proclamation declaring October 25, 2011 "Soroptimist International of Sedro-Woolley Day"! The city recognized SI Sedro-Woolley's many accomplishments and contributions to community life in our town, as well as our dedication to the organization's mission to improve the lives of women and girls.
